That's right, the dashdesign; team has been busy again and we are very happy to introduce you to our new, exciting and largest project to date: the Mittelhessen app!

Dream big, work hard

You heard right! After we presented two great apps to the cities of Grünberg and Mücke and inspired many people, we thought: Why shouldn't we go one step further?

But from the beginning

You know, our goal is to bring people in the communities together and to increase awareness of the great projects and offers in our own region. We managed to do this with the city apps and were able to gain a lot of valuable experience and meet great people, but also noticed that community boundaries often run differently than we as humans perceive them.

All events in one app

How sad would it be to miss a great event that is taking place in a neighboring town but doesn't appear on your community's app? Pretty annoying, which is why we want to remedy the situation with an app that covers the whole of Central Hesse.

A small team – a lot of power

Of course that sounds like a huge task and let's not kid ourselves, it is. But we wouldn't be dashdesign if we ducked a challenge and we are convinced: with our highly motivated team and the experience we have already gained with the city apps, we will master this project too!

All of Central Hesse? All of Central Hesse!

And of course we haven't been idle until now, in the background we have already programmed a large part of the necessary infrastructure and are now in the process of contacting the municipalities. Feel free to tell your elected representatives about the project too!

Oversleep digitalization

Because, let's be honest with each other, do you think Germany is well positioned digitally? Or just good enough? You know it, you drive to a village, the internet is gone, when you get home the WiFi doesn't work again, getting in touch with the municipalities is always a huge effort, while in countries neighboring Germany you can renew your ID and driving license online and register a business digitally.

Is it late?

We hope to be able to make a contribution to the increasingly important topic of digitalization with the Mittelhessen app. Germany is left behind, but that doesn't mean that the lead can't be caught up. Unfortunately, in recent years and decades we have seen a great deal of political disinterest in this topic, which is why we have decided to take it into our own hands and inspire politicians with results and we are happy about everyone who agrees with us and perhaps even shares this vision.
