€20,000 for your website, your entry in our city apps and other digitization projects

Let's not kid ourselves, we in Germany have had to live with the consequences of the corona pandemic for over a year now, and this is hitting small businesses particularly hard. The federal government offers support here and Bridging Aid III offers interesting help for the digitalization of your business.

So let's start straight away: in addition to the other items that the government helps with, you can get up to €20,000 from Bridging Aid III for the digitalization and modernization of your business.

Possible uses include:

Setting up or expanding an online shop

Setting up or expanding a website

Entry into an online platform (e.g. our Grünberg app or our Mücke app)

Purchase of an app for customers

Support of a social media platform (Facebook, Instagram etc.)

Expansion of the company's own WLAN (e.g. through a fiber optic connection)

Purchase of PCs and programs (e.g. from Gill-IT in Grünberg)

Purchase of smartphones or tablets for contact tracing

Further training on digitalization

As you can see, the possible applications are diverse. And the pandemic has shown us that having an online presence is important and will become an even more important part of every company in the coming years. Customers expect a serious and safe demeanor on the Internet. To obtain information, but also to contact the company. How you present yourself here will have a significant impact on the reputation of your company.

An investment is therefore urgent, especially with the possibility of receiving €20,000 from the government. So the step now seems sensible.

Who can apply?

In principle, anyone can apply, regardless of whether they are a company or self-employed. With the new regulation, this now also applies to start-ups that were founded by October 31, 2020. These were still excluded from applying for Bridging Aid II.

Where & how do you apply?

The application is submitted via a tax advisor, auditor, lawyer or a sworn accountant. The costs you incur when applying are also covered by the government.

It is important that deadlines are met! Applications can ONLY be submitted until August 31, 2021, so don't miss your chance!

In addition to the equity grant and the subsidy for fixed operational costs (read our article for detailed information), the digitalization assistance is probably the most interesting part of the bridging allowance III and one from which you can particularly benefit.
